Senigallia is known for its clear, clean and safe sea. These waters boast numerous awards: since 1997 the resort and its sea have obtained the Blue Flag of the FEE, for the quality of the water, the liveability of the coast and the efficiency of services.

Called "Velvet Beach", the coastline has a length of 13 km of fine golden sand. The seabed is shallow and quite safe for children. On the seafront there are many accommodation activities, restaurants, clubs, services. This makes Senigallia a particularly popular destination for both families with children and teenagers, thanks to the numerous events organized.

To the south of Senigallia we find Marzocca, a beach composed of pebbles mixed with gravel, characterized by large spaces of free beach. The seabed becomes deep after about ten meters from the shoreline. There are establishments with areas dedicated to families with children.
